5 The Table Spread المائدة Al-Ma'idah 71 740 وَحَسِبُوٓا۟ أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌۭ فَعَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ ثُمَّ تَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ كَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ "They thought there would be no consequences so they turned a blind eye and a deaf ear. Yet Allah turned to them in forgiveness ˹after their repentance˺ but again many became blind and deaf.
