28 23955 Sunan Abi Da'ud 31 3954 The Book of Manumission of Slaves - كتاب العتق "20040 20022 11046 11029 34" حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، حدثنا حماد، عن قيس، عن عطاء، عن جابر بن عبد الله، قال بعنا أمهات الأولاد على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأبي بكر فلما كان عمر نهانا فانتهينا ‏.‏ " Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: We sold slave-mothers during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and of AbuBakr. When Umar was in power he forbade us and we stopped."
